Inno Advanced Car Racks (formerly RV-Inno) is a division of Car Mate USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Car Mate Mfg.Co. Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan. Car Mate is a publicly traded company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Founded in 1966 by Takaaki Murata, the inventor of the car seat headrest, Car Mate is today the largest manufacturer of automotive accessories in Japan. The company's car rack division was launched in 1976 and demand for its products grew steadily. Today Inno has a 60% share of the Japanese car rack market, with its own manufacturing facilities in Japan and China to keep up with the growing demand.

Inno car racks first appeared on the U.S. market in 2003. Not surprisingly, our racks have caught on quick here in the States and are considered an ideal match for the nation's growing legions of active "weekend warriors" who demend technological superiority.
